About The Family Resource Center

At Clinton Elementary, our Family Resource Center provides training, resources and support to our many parents, guardians, volunteers and community members that support our instructional program. These individuals play a pivotal role at Clinton through active participation in our School Site Council, English Language Advisory Committee, Parent Teacher Association and volunteer work that directly supports the achievement of our students.

Send your child to school every day armed with the five P’s of empowerment.

#1.Permission: permission to think and reason effectively.

#2 Protection: as parents and educators we must provide an environment that is physically and psychologically safe for thinking.

#3 Purpose: coming to school on time, in uniform and following all the rules has a purpose and adds value to one’s character.

#4 Proficiency: our responsibility is to develop life long learners and good citizens.

#5 Pay-off: in the end the success of students will be measured by how well they perform on state mandated tests and later on in life.  All students are required to play active role in their own education.
